Creating A Dark Fantasy World of Vampires, Werewolves, Druids, Angels & Demons in 1893 London
Hello,
Welcome to my new blog! Do you like vampires? There appears to be a resurgence of Young Adult/New Adult vampire romances.
It has inspired me to go ahead with the plans I devised a while ago to both continue and widen the fantasy world I created in my New Adult Vampire Swords Trilogy set in 1893 London just after the Ripper murders. I hope to write more Vampire Sword adventures both in different historical eras and modern. There will also be some spin off series involving some of the lesser characters in the trilogy such as the Werewolves, Druids, Angels, those from the fairy realms who become involved in the central story by the end of The Hanged Man and new modern Young Adult/New Adult tales. These will all be available on my new publishing company, Star Temple Publishing Ltd's website and the subscription book club once the site is completed. There will be print versions in the future which I will endeavour to not just sell on the website but in book shops.
In the meantime, take a look at the new short synopsis for Knight of Swords below and let me know what you think. Catch it for the temporary price of 99p & $0.99 while you can on Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com.
Knight of Swords Book One The Vampire Swords Trilogy
Victorian London, 1893.
Lady Juliet Gaudain is turning eighteen and is to inherit a vast fortune and shipping line from her deceased parents. But that is not all she will inherit.
She quickly learns her father was a warrior from an ancient race of Britons with supernatural powers who were cursed by the Druids to become vampires. Forced to hide within normal society through the ages, they mated with humans and created a hybrid race. Juliet must now complete her transformation in to a vampire and ascend her throne to become the powerful Queen of the Taleians and unite her people scattered across the world with the aid of a mate fate has provided for her as protector.
Lord Nathan Valancourt is more than eager to accept his new role and title of Knight of Swords as the beautiful Taleian Queen's, protector, advisor and leader of her Army. But first he must fight a series of dangerous sword duels with other nobleman vampires who have been given the right to challenge his claim to the Queen and take her from him and force her to join with them.
Can Nathan defeat the devious challengers and protect his Queen from the cruel vampire who would destroy Juliet to possess her power? And consulate his blood relationship with her that is destined to last for eternity?
Victoria
